About Me
Hey there, my name is Tim!
I am a Developer Advocate, Software Engineer, and Data Engineer.
I drove inner source development and advocacy at Fortune 500 companies. Thousands of engineers have used my projects in production, such as dashboards-as-code libraries and declarative data pipeline factories. I've driven adoption through presentations, demos, templates, and more.
Recently, I have been at the excellent Brooklyn Data Co (BDC). I am a hands-on consultant for early-stage startups and Fortune 500 companies, helping them understand data strategy, maturity, and implementation.
My passion pulls me toward solving technical, business, and product problems that improve the quality of life for the abstractions above me. You can often find me writing a dbt package, Airflow provider, CLI tool, or a Terraform provider for my favorite SaaS of the week. One of the most significant gaps in the industry is the lack of cohesion between tooling.
I often try to soapbox about all this at the gym, Muay Thai, indoor rock climbing, or hanging out with my cats.
