Highly suggest checking out scriptkit. This tool can help you automate a lot!
Just took a look. I will actually give this a try. Definitely something that would make automation easier
Hey Jakub Olek thanks for suggestion I looked at this and was exactly what I needed.
Thank you for sharing this, I tried it and it's really amazing.
I'm really glad. The point of this post was to provide simple and practical applications to something pretty interesting yet not so well documented.
I was looking for something similar.. thanks for sharing 🙌🔥
Hey I’m glad you found it useful. I struggled using launchd at first to trigger my script and there weren’t many examples online so once I did get it I made sure to document my progress

Heck yeah! There's a lot you can do with it. Go ham.
I didn't know apple have this capability. Thank you for sharing!
I only found out about it 2 weeks ago. I think there's a lot of cool and interesting things you can do within the apple automation / optimizing productivity space.
Hold it did you guys discover BASH? Oh, just Apple stealing ideas again. ;) haha
Applescript is not Bash and nor does it follow the same structure or solve things that you'd use shell scripting for.
Bash refers to the shell most Unix distributions have - the Bourne Again Shell - BASH. You are trying to talk about shell scripting (.sh) but call it Bash.
Thanks for sharing 👍 Was thinking about how to save window layouts on my Mac so that I can reuse them later, now I know where to look! 🔥
I'm glad to hear it.
Are you running any custom theming in MacOS? Your finder window seems more dark than my dark mode in Monterey.
No custom theming. I will admit that my finder is not as dark as the screenshot but I wish it were.
Makes sense. I wish it was that cor as well. Looks super sharp! Lorenze Jay Hernandez
