I always have had massive respect for QA and Test Automation Engineers. They let us feel confident to build and implement new stuff.
Thank you for the great article 馃榾.
Indeed! We're all about teamwork and confidence amongst teams and products!
Appreciate the love, Alvin Endratno!
This was quite a honest portrayal of your struggles. To be honest if your thoughts with your current assignments align with those in this blogs then I believe there is a fundamental problem within the structure and process of the team.
Indeed. This was as honest as I could be.
It reflects my past experiences. Nowadays, not so much!
On the bright side, it made me more conscious of quality culture as a whole. Thus now I look at it as "good that it happened"!
Appreciate the comment 鈽猴笍
That was an honest opinion, it's nice to see more of this!

Great post, S茅rgio.
I have to admit many companies, frontend and backend developers believes test automation is inferior, but luckily more and more companies think differently.
If a test automation engineer really experience the things mentioned in your post then it is high time to move on and find a company which respects its test automation engineers.
Personally, it was the best I've done鈥攎oving to a place where I felt valued.
Appreciate you, Miki Szeles!
I just started writing my first tests for an app I'm building with Cypress and Puppeteer. Boy oh boy did it take a while. Those twenty lines I wrote for a commit took me hours...
It probably doesn't help that devs don't treat testers with respect.
Thanks for writing this article, it caused me to look into something which I often ignored.
