I've been using a chrome extension called OneTab. I usually open loads of tabs to read later and it distracts me. The extension basically converts my tabs into a list! I think it's worth having a look!

Check out Tab Wrangler too. It's the most seamlessly automatic one that doesn't stress me out about losing things, that I've found.
