Great post Sarah! Honestly, never could have guessed that you were an introvert, definitely not from our interactions atleast... Thanks for the mention and I hope you continue to enjoy this journey... 🙂🙌

Thanks, Skay! Yes when interacting face-to-face with others, I am very shy and reserved. I feel much more comfortable interacting with others on Twitter, getting started was the hardest part!

I can also say Twitter is a great platform to relate with others with similar interest as mine. I too have gained a lot while being active on Twitter 🤩

I've lived almost entirely all my childhood in the dark. Not depressed or mentally ill, just socially awkward and shy. Thank you, Sarah! Twitter. . .Here I come!! [inserts running man emoji here]

Hey Sarah, I started to experience the same on Twitter, and hopefully I'll be able to engage a lot more now thanks to your tips :) I was also like there's no reward without risk and pushing myself when I started to blog here some days ago. It was nice to read about your journey, thanks a lot for sharing!

This is my first day at Hashnode. This post was at the top of the news feed. I am an introvert. So, this article makes my day. Thank you very much. Go ahead to your expected destiny.

Been finding it difficult to write articles/connect on Twitter. This could really help...

Amazing post. Truly great! 👍

I was on the fence about joining twitter since I had heard about the toxic culture and the inability to grow an audience. But after reading this post, I finally got the courage to create an account and start following my favorite developers on the platform.

Thanks for sharing! 🙌

For me, I didn't have a goal to grow followers - I wanted to connect with people. Which in turn led to my account growing over time. But even if I didn't gain a lot of followers, the relationships were worth it! Some people have that goal, and I think it's ok to want a large following, but to truly enjoy Twitter, especially as a new user, that doesn't have to be your main goal. Just connect with people and good things will happen. :) Good luck!
