About Me
Hey there, my name is Dathan! (Yes that's my real name). My journey to becoming a software developer started when I was completing my last semester in college in 2017, obtaining my BS in Biology. I took a wonderful Bioinformatics class and used Python to create simple scripts. After I graduated, I didn't really look back at programming...until 2020.
In 2020, I started learning some web development and backend development, and I started to have this feeling that it was truly meant for me. I enrolled in Western Governors University B.S in Software Development program, and finally graduated in July 2022!
My development skills align more with the backend of programming. I enjoy Java, Kotlin and SQL, with a huge interest in mobile development!
